Health and Focus to practise Poker Mindset

The key to success at the poker tables is to focus on your poker mindset. To simply practise poker is just not enough. Whether playing online or in live poker tournaments, endurance, stamina and concentration are key elements needed by every ‘wanna be’ decent poker player. There are many books, websites and TV shows poker players can tune into to enhance their poker skills, but how do you improve your mental strength to endure the hours required to get results?

Concentration is something you can train for, you can apply yourself to different ‘mind techniques’. However, if you do not look after yourself both physically and mentally, you will not exceed the use of your poker mindset.

So, what can we do to improve these mindset skills to improve our poker skills? What do you do other than just practise poker?

Dieting and keeping physically fit are obvious ways of looking after your body, but how many poker players believe this is important to them becoming a better poker player?

BUT, it is time to take yourself to the next level if your really do crave to become that better poker player you want to be. As we have suggested in earlier postings, it is time to ‘think outside the box’. So I am always on the search for different ways to improve you, both physically and mentally. And it always helps when we can find FREE options.

This is where I came across an idea called Simpleology. This concept focuses on implementing simple ideas to increase your time, energy and money, three key sources every poker player would like more of. Simpleology has three simple levels:

Level 1: The Simple Science of Getting What You Want.

Level 2: The Simple Science of Money

Level 3: The Simple Science of Personal Energy

and within these three levels are five simple laws:

1. The Law of Straight Lines

2. The Law of Clear Vision

3. The Law of Focused Attention

4. The Law of Focused Energy

5. The Law of Inescapability of Action/Reaction

These five laws will help you on your path to success, both at the poker tables and towards whatever goals you seek to achieve.

I also found some of their initial information on eating and drinking to improve your energy levels absolutely fascinating.

So just CLICK HERE to have a read at what Simpleology can offer you to become a better poker player. Please note I am not affiliated with Simpleology and receive no commission for recommending them, I just like their thought processes and concepts. Warning – there is a loud music clip that starts up when you open their site, quite a catchy tune.

You have the choice to take on board what information will help you improve your poker skills, just make the effort to use some of it. Your poker mindset will be a key factor to your success. You need to feed it and mold it to achieve your goals and improve your poker skills.

You can see you must look to do more than just practise poker, you must take you efforts to the next level. Push yourself to limit and watch yourself soar as you improve and become the poker player you want to be.

If you can see the benefits after visiting their site or simply want to comment on the above post, please leave a comment below. I love hearing your feedback. Even share this post with your Facebook friends or on Twitter.
